2. The ideal position: You should sit up straight and, if possible, place both feet flat on the floor . Grasp the top bead between your thumb and index finger. Arch your wrist slightly; secure your forearm to something solid, such as the edge of a table or the arm of a chair. Let the pendulum swing. Try not to move .
